How to Send Payments through Xoom - the PayPal Service

Hello Everyone,

In this article, we have detailed the steps to use xoom to send us the payment for the invoices or bills.

Please use xoom to send the payment. Xoom is the PayPal service. Xoom is owned by PayPal.

Here are few steps which would hardly take 2 to 3 minutes of yours if you are new to xoom (Just 1 Minute for existing active Xoom account holders):

Step 1: You may need to click here: https://www.xoom.com/india/send-money

Step 2: Enter the amount in USD as equivalent to the invoice value.(or, replace the currency as per your invoice and enter respective amount value. And, Click on "Send now" Button.

You will see the page similar to this one in screenshot - http://prntscr.com/pc0x2b . And, Click on Continue.

Step 3: Choose the option "Bank Deposit" - screenshot - http://prntscr.com/pc0xa4 and select either Signup(if you don't have an account with Xoom) or Login with your Xoom account.

Note: On signup, you can either signup using your paypal account or signup with email.


Step 4: Select "ICICI Bank" from the list as seen in this screenshot -  http://prntscr.com/ptdfpl

Then, Enter the 12 digit account number of Yakin Shah - 111401510765

And, Select "Continue" button.


Step 5: Enter the below details in Recipient details:

First Name: Yakin
Last Name: Shah
Address: 5 2 50 51, First Floor, Rani Gunj, Bible House, Secunderabad
City: Hyderabad
State: Telangana
Phone +91: 7799285123
Recipient's Email: yakinjshah@gmail.com

And, select "Continue to payment" button.


Step 6: Enter your details, your address, city, state, zip code, your date of birth; and select "Continue".

And, Verify your address selection if notified.

Step 7: Select your Payment Information to your liking (Bank Account, or debit or credit card). How you would like to make the payment. Note: If you select Bank Account, you need not pay any fee.

If you are making the payment from your Bank account, Enter your Name as in account, Enter Account Type, Routing Number, Account Number, and select "Continue to Review"

And complete the payment as per the process.

Xoom is a paypal service and they are also strict in securing your money as same as PayPal main service. Xoom may ask you over email and you may let them know that this is a personal payment to Yakin Shah, you know me and we are good friends. Xoom allows person to person (non-business) payments and you need to let xoom know (if they ask) that it's a personal transfer to a friend of yours "yakin shah". You know Yakin Shah in person.
